Hans Bellmer was a German artist, best known for his drawings, etchings that illustrates the 1940 edition of Histoire de l’œil, and the life-sized female dolls he produced in the mid-1930s. Historians of art and photography also consider him a Surrealist photographer.

Gilbert attended Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) (2005) and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting. In 2008, he received his Master of Fine Arts in painting from Yale University. Permanent collections: Brooklyn Museum of Art, Whitney Museum, and Studio Museum in Harlem.

Artist Statement: I am a Los Angeles based visual artist specializing in acrylic paintings with a historical context behind them.
As a first-generation immigrant, I have lived in various parts of the world including England, West Africa, and New York City, each of which have played a role in my work today.
The blend of my childhood experiences in music, entertainment, and sports have influenced my desire to narrate stories through my paintings.
Laura Ball (1972 – Pres.)

Oyeleye Feranmi is a continuing distinctive artist, from Oyo town, Oyo State, Nigeria. His Art journey dates back to his childhood days, when he used to sketch diagrams from his basic science textbook and turn all his subject notes into a "sketch book".
With his passion for art, his talent, and his continuous practicing, Oyeleleye earned a two-year internship under artist Oluwafemi Afolabi, and work as an assistant for Femo Art studio, Oyo State Nigeria.
